GET has an Eye for quality

With the 2012 Olympics in sight, parts of London are undergoing a regeneration that is more like a transformation. Areas that have suffered in the past are feeling the breath of the future on them, and no more so than the East End district of Stratford.

The developments for the Olympics and the rejuvenation of this vibrant and diverse area are making Stratford a great place to live, so on the site of the former Maryland Works developers have created an iconic 19 storey tower called The Stratford Eye. The Eye is a column of glass containing 160 one, two and three bedroom apartments - 64 luxury - with lower levels given over to mixed tenure accommodation and office space.

The interiors are finished to an excellent standard with specifications that meet the highest aspirations of modern design. The contractors were looking for a range of electrical fitments that would compliment and enhance the design as well as being durable and cost effective. After some competition they chose GET to supply all the apartments in a contract worth £35k. GET have supplied the full range of wiring accessories from their Exclusive decorative polished chrome and Ultimate white moulded ranges, plus some behind-the-scenes circuit protection and consumer units. The job was completed smoothly and on time and both the contractor and the occupants have declared themselves delighted with the end result.

Ideally placed to take advantage of the Olympic developments, the Eye is also at the heart of London's transport web and ready for the opening of Stratford International station in 2010 which will provide direct rail links to Paris and Brussels. The Stratford Eye is rapidly becoming one of the most popular addresses in London.
